Barbara Park Leggett is both a non-profit consultant and a professional certified coach for nonprofit leaders.
With 25+ years in museum leadership – including leading a small museum from its grassroots beginning to the confirmed centerpiece attraction of the Buffalo waterfront revitalization – Leggett has worked with museums and multiple nonprofit agencies. Leggett’s specialty is small and mid-sized organizations
Today, Leggett consults with non-profits organizations and coaches non-profit leaders to bring more focused planning, insights and knowledge to their work. She helps both leaders and organizations reach their true potential.
In addition to a Communications Management degree from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University, she has completed multiple certifications and trainings in both non-profit management and coaching. Nonprofit certifications/trainings include programs by: Harvard School of Business, Cornell University, Canisius College, Association of Fundraising Professionals, and Benevon. Coach certifications/trainings include: the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching, the International Coaching Federation, the Happiness Studies Academy and the Positive Intelligence program.
